Manluminsag Ambush case accused- witness William Paunillian was already returned to the Guihulngan District Jail after he was confined to the hospital due to the extreme rise of his blood pressure.

Sr/Supt Melvin Ramon Buenafe, Negros Oriental Provincial Police Office Director, disclosed that they are still closely monitoring the health conditions of Paunillian who is a very important witness of the March 9 ambush of last year which claimed lives.

Buenafe is hopeful that the court will permit the transfer of Paunillian to the Provincial Jail so that he would be closer to the hospital in case there is a need for him to be rushed to the hospital.

According to Buenafe, the authorities are doing everything they can to ensure the safety of Paunillian so that the suspect would not worry about his safety. Thus, the anxiety and stress of Paunillian would be lessened which could have been the reason for the rise of his blood pressure.
