Another city dad refuses cell phone acceptance

Another City Councilor declared of refusing the cellular phones which will be purchased by the local government of Dumaguete.

Councilor Tony Remollo disclosed at DYEM Energy FM Dumaguete Tonight that he won’t accept the expensive N82 cellular phone amounting to more or less P20, 000 if it will not be acquired through plan. But if the city would provide load for the city dads then he will accept the unit.

The councilor explained that if the units will be acquired through plan, then he will accept it but if only the cellphone will be purchased and no load will be provided then he will not accept it. He said that the unit is only lent to them and if ever it be snatched or the like then they are answerable.

Earlier, Councilor Alan Gel Cordova said that he will not accept the unit. The purchase of expensive cellular phones for the city dads so that they would be more effective in their jobs received a lot of negative feedbacks from the public.
