Another public school put up in Sta. Catalina

Another public school was opened yesterday morning by the Provincial Government of Negros Oriental in Barangay Kakha in Sta. Catalina town.

The event was witnessed by Governor Emilio Macias II, Sta. Catalina Mayor Ruben Melodia, Licerio Napao, Negros Oriental Division Superintendent, two district supervisors and teachers.

Governor Emilio Macias II disclosed at DYEM Energy FM Dumaguete Tonight that he was greatly amused that he was able to visit again the place and see that the place is already peaceful unlike before. The governor said that his administration right now aims to put up public schools in hinter barangays of the province. This is also part of his program “Basta Negros, Education 104.”
