MINOR RAPES A MINOR
IN TARA MABINAY
A 9yr old grade one pupil in Tara Elementary School in Mabinay was allegedly raped by a 15yr old suspect a first year high school student from the Tara High school nearby in Mabinay.
Victim whose name is witheld was towing her father's carabao by way of helping him toil the land. Suddenly frm nowhere, the suspect armed with a knife pushed the girl until they riched the sugar cane field nearby where he molested her sexually. Law also prohibits mentioning the name of the suspect minor sexual attacker. A barrio councilman arrested the suspect. Kagawd Elizar Dimapiles brought the suspect to the police. The law on minors prohibits detention. Instead, the minor suspect be brought for rehabilitation to the DSWD social welfare office. But the problem is the DSWD in Mabinay still does not have the equipment and fascilities. So the minor suspect and minor victim will be brought to the custody of their next of kin. -30--

MENTALLY DERANGED HACKED
BY HIS OWN BROTHERA Mentally deranged man in Kanaway, Siaton went wild . Police identified him as one Johnny Asena, 35, and single. Johnny went wild,and when brother Ronnie ,36, tried to pacify, Johnny instead wacks him with a bamboo, prompting Ronnie to hack his brother with a flamingo. Ronnie says, Johnny was attacking their aunt Nora. Johnny is now fighting for his life a the provincial hospital in Dumaguete with serious wounds in his chest. Proper charges of frustrated parricide are now readied against Ronnie the brother.-30-
