Dgte, Makati to ink MOA

The signing of the Sisterhood Memorandum Agreement between Dumaguete City and Makati City will take place tomorrow afternoon. Expected to arrive tomorrow is Makati City Mayor Jejomar Binay and other fifteen officials for the signing of the MOA so do with the other areas in the province.

According to Councilor Tony Remollo who was interviewed over DYEM Energy FM Dumaguete Tonight that a signing of agreement will take place between Negros Oriental State University and Makati University. This will take place on Thursday morning. On Friday, another sisterhood MOA will be signed between Mayor Binay and the local government of Tanjay City. Councilor Remollo also disclosed that Mayor Binay will also attend the Council of President’s Dinner of the Rotary East. Councilor Remollo said that the sisterhood between Dumaguete City and Makati City will help a lot so that Makati City could impart its developments to the city of Dumaguete.

Councilor Remollo also revealed at Dumaguete Tonight that Mayor Binay will donate ambulances to the areas where they will sign a sisterhood agreement. However, Remollo said that at present, the city does not need an ambulance yet since the Dumaguete has no city hospital yet.

When Councilor Remollo was asked if he would ask Mayor Binay’s assistance to build a city hospital, Remollo said he will wait for Mayor Binay to ask for what assistance he could give to the city.
