Guihulngan Mayor to distribute goods

Guihulngan City Mayor will distribute 5 kilos of NFA rice to the residents of Barangays Linantuyan and Trinidad. This was disclosed by Mayor Ernesto Reyes who was interviewed over DYEM Energy FM Dumaguete Tonight.

This after the 11th Infantry Battalion under Lt. Col. Nemesio Gacal, Commanidng Officer, gave books, TV set, DVD player, plastic wares and others which was witnessed by Mayor Reyes.

According to Mayor Reyes, their local government will also give their counterpart in giving assistance to the residents of Barangays Trinidad and Linantuyan. Mayor Reyes added that he will also distribute corn seeds and fertilizers.

On the other hand, Mayor Ernesto Reyes stood up that Barangays Trinidad and Linantuyan are peaceful. This was what he found out during his visit in the said barangays. He also added that the said human rights abuses in the hinterlands are not true. He also attested to his former statement that there are no military abuses happening there.
