Mayor seeks DOJ’s immediate Fiscal appointment

Guihulngan City Mayor will now personally make a move and appear before the Department of Justice tomorrow in order to solve the failure of appointing a City Prosecutor in Guihulngan.

This was disclosed by Mayor Ernesto Reyes during his visit in Barangay Linantuyan, Guihulngan City yesterday morning. The mayor expressed his disappointment since even the police were greatly affected with the lack of a City Prosecutor. Mayor Reyes disclosed that he will seek the assistance of First District Representative Jocelyn Limkaichong so that he can have an audience with Secretary Raul Gonzales.

Mayor Reyes said he does not understand why it took so long to appoint a new City Prosecutor in Guihulngan City. He said many criminals were freed since no cases were filed against them.
