Military Commander subject to probable service removal

The Detachment Commander who was drunk and fired his service firearm in Sitio Nasuhi, Puhagan, Valencia last week will be subject to administrative charges said 302nd Brigade Commander Col. Cesar Yano after Puhagan Barangay Captain Ma. Lea Salvoro and residents in the said barangay expressed their lack of interest to file charges against Sgt. Samuel Lagahit and 3 others.

Col. Yano said Sgt. Lagahit may be freed from criminal liability but he cannot escape from administrative charges which will be filed against him. In fact, Col. Yano said, he recommended for the removal from service of the said soldiers.

The soldiers concerned are now detained in Camp Leon Kilat in Tanjay City.
