Perdices family donates lot for Habitat

Dumaguete City 10:00 a.m. ---- In response to the city's housing for the poor program, the family of Mayor Agustin Perdices is donating half a hectare (5,000 square meters) lot to the Habitat for Humanity.
The property is located at Barangay Candau-ay valued over a million pesos.
This was bared by the mayor himself in his message during the oath taking of city officials June 29 at the city session hall.
This is in accordance with the city's thrust to embark on a more aggressive housing program expecially to the less fortunate in the community.
Mayor Perdices is also asking those who have been blessed with material wealth to also possibly support housing projects of the city in partnership with the Habitat for Humanity, Mother Rita Housing Project and the Gawad Kalinga.
