Police on alert for MILF entry

The police here in the city and the province are now on alert for the possible entry of the rebel coming from the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) from Mindanao. This was confirmed by Sr/Supt. Augusto Marquez, Provincial Director of the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office.

Col. Marquez did not disregard the possibility that members of the MILF will fled here in the Visayas after the military conducted offensive measures against terrorists who attacked 2 towns in Lanao de Norte. The police are now in full alert.

Col. Marquez said they are tightly guarding all entry points here in the province where the MILF could possibly gain entrance.
