Policemen train on Batons

Close to 60 policemen from the different police stations in the province of Negros Oriental are undergoing a pro-baton and side-handled baton training at the Provincial Head Quarters.

According to PO3 Edilberto Euroba, Negros Oriental Provincial Police Office Spokesperson said that the policemen who joined the training are all police officer 1 who is usually assigned on police beat patrols. The training will be finished this coming Friday. An official from the Regional Police Office 7 conducted the training since the pro-baton and the side handled baton training has long been ordered by the national police office.

This is done because in times wherein there is no threat for the lie of the police man, he can use his baton instead of his fire arm.
