| St. Francis College not raidedThe Saint Francis College of Guihulngan City strongly denied allegations that their institution was raided by the members of the 11th Infantry Battalion.
This was learned from Brother Tim Gulay, Guidance Councilor of St. Francis College. However, he also confirmed the presence of the soldiers in the school. He said he personally conversed with the leader of the military.
Bro. Gulay narrated that a platoon of soldiers asked permission to drop by and take their lunch inside the school since there is water supply there. Gulay disclosed that he has permitted them to take their lunch in the school’s kiosk but should leave right away after doing so. However, after about three minutes, one of the soldiers went back to him and informed the guidance councilor that they will already be going ahead.
Brother Tim Gulay clarified that the school has no fencing at the back where the soldiers passed and they have nothing against the dropping by of the military especially that they did not last long in the school.
