This is the sad reality about what we got in Dumaguete and the province.
We have the local govt officers elected by the people ,to serve the people and bring goodness ,but only sitting out there on their asses who til this day remain out of touch and out of their concerns the increasing crime occurences in and around the city.

Of all these dreadful anxiety provoking proliferation of crimes incidents around,we rarely heard of local officials ever involve in bringing issues about solving crime problem of the city .What do they do ? Sit around day dreaming ? Have a chit chat with other fellas in the office , go to meetings and what they have ,bickering sometimes on silly issues .There is nothing done or any visible actions initiated to help the people of Dumaguete's prime concern of safety.There is lacking organizational skills / networking efforts between local govt ,local agencies,the PNP ,people /community to in support to crime prevention of the city. As many of us are aware of,only the weakling under funded out-numbered , Dumaguete PNP left to do the work themselves .While those elected govt officials couldn't care less . They were spotted nice and amiable during election time , showing their yellow and brown teeth , typical!
