This resort is located north of Canlaon or the other side of Mt Guintubhan.This is a 24 hectar forest property with creepy bubbling mud ,sulphur springs and quicksand.It has less ghoulish attractions ie a warm sulphur bath and natural springs, a separate swimming pool ,seven sets of waterfalls nearby .The overlooking trees are haven to huge bats that hover above even during daylight .It was very astounding sight to see such large number of bats settled in trees ,bats danging like leaves .
The place has basic amenities such as various food catering stools and cottages to stay .


Cold pool


This is suphur warm pool, i luv this pool,you can dip and relax ,very soothing .After the soaking dip ,can feel the skin so soft smooth and looking clear perhaps due to good minerals that abounds in the hot spring .The entrance to this particular pool cost P50/person ,a little cheaper for a child , and has an all day pass to this pool.The other pool has a different entrance fee.People with high blood pressure for instance were given precautionary warning ,but still allowed to dip in .

Plunging into this pool is way to agonizing death.It made me wonder with apparent risks of fall or slipping into this death pool ,there's no barriers being put in place esp for children who may wonder into this area.

1st Timer to Bacolod

Hi i plan on travelling to Philippines with my 3 young children on November to December 09 staying for 6 weeks and would appreciate some info and feedbacks on a few things pls. I planned on taking my boys to Bacolod for a few days from Iloilo. Can someone please give me some feedback on accommodations and activities ie. Caribbean Water Park, Mambukal Resort, Kundutel Hotel, Canonoy Beach Resort etc. How far are these places from Bacolod Port? What's the best for of transport especially when travelling with children. My kids are 13,8 and 1 1/2 years old so safe and convenient transport would be ideal - not too expensive:)What other activities would you suggest that would be fun for my kids & I to do. Thanks in advance.
