Wage Increase takes effect Nov 11

The five-peso wage increase in the province of Negros Oriental will take effect this coming November 11 for all employees revealed Atty. Jose Ogang, Chief Provincial Labor and Employment Officer.

Atty. Ogang clarified that there are no establishments and institutions which are exempted of the wage hike.

According to him, they will conduct surprise inspections to the different firms and establishments to check if they pursued the increase of salaries for their employees.

However, Atty. Ogang is confident that the employers woulb be willing to implement the five-peso wage increase order from the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board or RTWPB.
