Macias Asks Barangay Officials to guide SK
Governor Emilio Macias II has asked barangay officials to guide their newly-elected Sangguniang Kabataan Officials as they perform their responsibilities as public servants.
Macias has challenged the SK officials to initiate long term projects which would be very relevant to the society.
He stressed that it is due time for the youth officials to execute their duties very well to let the issues on abolishing Sangguniang Kabataan lay still.
Macias said that the young politicians should now refrain from asking sports equipment as they should initiate more relevant activities like blood-letting.
With the SK’s 10 percent share from the Economic Development Fund (EDF) from the 20 percent share of the Barangay, Macias has urged them to spend their budget shrewdly into pertinent and appropriate projects in their barangays
