On the Hoof for Mastermind
After the capture of the alleged gun men of the late Judge Orlando Velasco of the Regional Trial Court Branch 63 in Bayawan City, the Inter-Agency Task Force Velasco is now in on their hoof of identifying the mastermind of the judge’s untimely death, revealed Sr/Supt Melvin Ramon Buenafe, Provincial Police Director of Negros Oriental and the leader of the Task Force.
According to Buenafe, at present, their main goal is to identify the mastermind of the crime. He stressed that the confidence given by the people and the officials to the police force is their inspiration to improve their service to the people.
Two high profile cases are now solved by the Provincial Police.
First was the ambush incident at Barangay Manluminsag, La Libertad town during the hot season of last Year’s election where a former Congressman was allegedly the mastermind of the crime.
