TMO complains establishmen
Selling Noisy mufflers
The Traffic Management Office (TMO) will file a complaint to the Department of Trade and Industry against business establishments who sell motorcycle mufflers which do not have silencers.
Aside from this, the sold mufflers from these establishments are low in quality.
TMO Operations Officer Danilo Atillo revealed that they will file a complaint regarding this matter since this is one of their problems today.
DYEM Energy FM has received a lot of text messages complaining with a number of motorcycles which are very noisy despite the city ordinance which prohibits such doings.
Attilo said they have arrested a number of violators yet they keep on doing the same since one of the causes are the establishments who sell mufflers without silencers. Attilo fears that these establishments did not pass through DTI inspection.
TMO will file complaints against 10 business establishments in Dumaguete City and he believes that it would be better if the DTI will check on the matter to see if selling low quality mufflers is legal.
