4 Nabbed in alleged drugs lairs
Four illegal drug suspects were arrested by Task Force 24 yesterday afternoon during their consecutive operations in the places in the city which are believed to be lair of the illegal drugs.
First arrested was Flor Garcia, 18 years old, single and a resident of Zone 4, Barangay Looc, Dumaguete City. Seized from her possession are two sachets which are suspected to contain shabu. Arrested next was Jeofrey Belen, 24 years old, single from Tabuc-tubig. Taken from his possession is 1 sachet of shabu. He was nabbed at Upper Lukewright. The third suspect and fourth suspects are both from Zone 4, Barangay Looc. The suspects were identified as Luisito de Vera, 38 years old, married. Seized from him are three transparent plastics which are believed to contain shabu. The last supect is identified as Leny Jane Sabanal, 23, single. Taken from her is a sachet of alleged shabu.
The team which nabbed the four suspects was lead by Atty Domingo Cimafranca, NBI Senior Agant Miguel Dungog, Nick Tagle, SPO1 Manuel Sanchez, PO3 Glenn Corsame of PDEA, Aldrin Ramirez from CIDG, Looc Barangay Kagawad Merlindo Tamayo and DOJ Representative Ramonito Astillero.
Witnesses were Kagawad Joel Las Pinas and members of the media Jojo Fabillar and Niel Rio.
