Bodol-Bodol gang strikes again!
An old woman lost P90, 000 worth of jewelries and P30, 000 cash after she was victimized by the “bodol-bodol” gang at the Holy Child Hospital.
The victim was Pacita Dais, 78 years old from Sta Catalina town.
According to the victim’s report, she went to the said hospital to check her husband’s condition. The suspects then approached the victim and pretended to be looking for a friend who was also admitted in the same hospital. Without noticing, she was already carried by the flowered words of the suspects and before she knew it, she was already in a secluded place where large acacia trees abound. Another man then approached them and asked for help because he is looking for a fire extinguisher merchandiser. One of the suspects then left to get a dealer. Convinced by the words of the suspects, the old lady then handed her bag containing her jewelries and money. She did not notice that a bag switching happened and after the suspects left, all she had was a bag full of paper.
