IBP NegOr remains neutral

Contrary from the other areas in the Philippines, the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Negros Oriental Chapter does not claim or President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo’s resignation regarding the controversial NBN-ZTE project.

This was revealed by Atty Samsudin Tahir, President of the IBP Negros Oriental Chapter who was interviewed at DYEM Energy FM Dumaguete Tonight.

According to Atty Tahir, the lawyers here in the province would remain neutral on the issue but they would also want the truth to come out and to completely eliminate corruption in the government.
This was what Atty Feliciano Bautista, National IBP President, has also disclosed in the same radio program. Atty Bautista said that the IBP demands to know the truth of the issue.

Atty Baustista gave his opening message yesterday during the opening of the 3-day convention of the Western Visayas lawyers at the Negros Oriental Convention
