Mayor brings "kasaligan" players to merger
City Mayor Agustin Perdices is expected to bring his team players in the "kasaligan" political group into the merger Lakas-Kampi in the wake of the recent merger of the two political parties dubbed as the colossus of the next political generation.
In an interview with the media, Mayor Perdicea disclosed that most likely, the local members of the parties will be highly affected.
He explained that possibly, the coalition will find it very hard to identify a candidate for a position in the local post.
On the other hand, when the city mayor was asked on his alleged plan to run as governor in the 2010 elections, he disclosed that he was only joking. He added that he will then decide on the matter if 2010 will already be near.
