Canlaon rich kid ambushed!
A 33-year old man coming from a prestigious family in Canlaon City was dead on the spot after he was ambushed by 7 still unknown suspects yesterday morning in Barangay Mabigo, Canlaon City.
PO3 Edilberto Euroba, Negros Oriental Provincial Police Office Spokesperson identified the victim as one Jasper Jay dela Vina that hails in the same place.
Based on the report received by the Provincial Police Office, the victim was on board a motorcycle without a plate number heading to Barangay Pula. When he reached Sitio Lucap, Barangay Mabigo, 7 armed men wearing camouflage and bonnets fired gunshots to the victim simultaneously. The victim was hit many times in several parts of his body resulting to his immediate demise.
Recovered from the crime scene were 44 empty shells of M16 rifle, 3 empty shells of caliber 45 and 7 live ammunitions. The suspects fled going to Barangay Pula, Canalaon City. Police authorities are now in deep investigation in identifying the motive and brains of the gruesome crime.
