US Ambassador: No Nuclear Weapons in USS Ronald Reagan
US Ambassador to the Philippines Kristie Kenney clarified that USS Ronald Reagan sent to the Philippines to help the relief operations conducted in the areas badly affected by the storm Frank is not bringing any nuclear weapon.
In a Press Conference yesterday, Ambassador Kenney pointed out USS Ronald Reagan did not dock in the Philippine waters. Only the helicopters loaded with relief goods are here in the country. In fact, Ambassador Kenney said that the US Navy did not leave the USS Ronald Reagan. They only fueled up and lifted the relief goods which were sent to the different areas greatly destroyed by the storm. Kenney added that the US Navy involved in the relief operation will not stay long here.
