Hi lali,musta?

I not from Dgte myself (am also from the northern town of Dumaguete ),studied HS in Dgte and back to my town to finish HS,then back again for some yrs Dumaguete to study univ,it feels like home ,ofcourse being a negrense and to have lived there .But hopefully,to live nr dumaguete someday ,puhon .We bought 2 adjacent lots over there,something to look forward to in the near future.

Although i love my home town and more laid back way of life .I hate longer distance from good supermarkets, malls,cinemas, hospitals, restaurants .
To live nr dumaguete will be more for convenience.By the way I am in the UK.

I from a town approx 1 hr drive north of Duma.If you buy lot or house near dumaguete,don't go for internet offers kay they are crazy foreigner prices. Best to look for it yourself so you have good idea what you like.Another tip try to get away with the middlemen,they will put more money on top of the orig price,better to negotiate direct with the owner.
We got our piece in the metro dumaguete area.Dumaguete proper is getting congested and polluted ,we don't want that.

Dumaguete is expanding faster nowadays.Many foreigners finding their way to settle in Dumaguete ,more restaurants and businesses on the rise too.Population is increasing hence within in block of 10 yrs to 20 yrs with the current rate of development unchanged ,it is foreseeable the face of dumaguete will alter,prices of properties will go stiff coz of high demand .Our own rustic city of gentle people would look different,but i hope the gentle ambience will remain.We would love to settle in a peaceful metro Dumaguete someday.

Pa-ita akung weekend dri,gi sip-on grabe Lali,tingali hay fever ni.Nag take ko anti histamines para allergy ani. mga 4 years na ni akung na obserbahan nga inig onset sa June then running to August mutukar ang grabing sip-on plus mild asthma.Wala koy ashtma sa pinas,pag anhi na nako dri , dili sab ni mu tukar lain nga time only june - august ra gyud unsa ba ,only inig ka summer.Tingali sa pollen count kini. Tsada unta ang summer pero mag agwanta sab ko dri aning hay fever ug mild asthma.

Just my 2 penny guess you are somewhere in the middleast @shakoy ,where abouts?True there was heat wave even like Italy down to Greece reaching up to 45 oC last wk ,perting inita.So much in the middle east.

lady_bird, i think temperature from 45 to 50+ here is normal to locals, especially if its summer time, i think they're used to it.

in our case we are strangers in this kind of climate, the only thing you can do is drink plenty plenty plenty of water, then take anti-hydration solution, or electrolytes to keep body in balance, if not, go to medic and have IV solutions for 30 minute or 1 hour. the heat really put you down.

i have a friend who is also working in Oman, he said same situation, HOT HOT HOT

i'll find some pics so i can post it hear for you to see,

nangita pa lage ko ug mga pics sa dgte, mangawat lang gud ko sa internet, wala man ko digicam, hehehe, unless naa nya mga tawo diri makabasa den mga hilig colection ug sa dgte ila ila post but as of now, kita sa lang, i'm even asking the webmaster if they have codes/tags where we can embed video, so that we can post videos taken during dgte celebrations or activities.

I was trying to post a photo but find it bit complicated,i was lead to another site .I wish it can be done simplier and straight forward,arun dali lang ba.
