In the joint press conference, the two formerly arrested self-confessed members of the NPA Pedro Lumantas and Lita Mahilum were presented.
Lumantas was captured by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by a judge in Danao City for murdering 4 soldiers of the 78th Infantry Battalion based in Cebu. Upon inspection of their belongings, 1 grenade was recovered from each of their bags.
Illegal Possession of Explosives complaint was already filed against the two.
