Sibulan COP asks additional troop

Sibulan Chief of Police Errol Garhitorena has requested the Negros Oriental provincial Police Office for additional police officers in his jurisdiction in order to augment their police force which is giving full security to the Sibulan port.

The Sibulan port is allegedly the entry point of members of the New People’s Army who fled here in the province from Cebu or Bohol.

Senior Inspector Errol Garchitorena said this is also in connection with the arrest of Pedro Lumantas and Lita Mahilum. Both nabbed suspects earlier admitted that they come and go in the province to bring logistics to the leftist’s movement.
