Alleged drug personality shot dead
A suspected drug personality was shot to death last night at Brix, Daro, Dumaguete City. The victim was identified by Supt. Leopoldo Cabanag, Dumaguete City chief of Police, as one Badin Liu, of legal age and a resident of Barangay Looc.
In an interview over DYEM Energy Fm Dumaguete Tonight, Supt. Cabanag disclosed that Liu is in the police’ watchlist for allegedly being involved in pushing the illegal drugs. However, the police have no lead yet as to what the real motive behind Liu’s murder.
Col. Cabanag said Liu was on board his motorcycle and was probably tailed by his suspected killers who were also on board a motorcycle. When Liu entered along the Brix Crossing, he was showered with bullets by the still unidentified suspects.
