No, they are still around.
YESTERDAY, at past 4pm the so-called Equalizers, those still unknown killers of drug personalities gunned down their latest victime, one Kerwin Lozada, 31, single a known drug personality in Batinguel. Lozada, son of a known city psychiatrist, has been in the hit list for some time after he has been a familiar police character who has been in and out of the city police investigation list. He was gunned down with three 9mm bullets which hit him fatally in the neck and armpit. Lozada was on board a jiffy and cruising along Perdices corner Pinili when he was waylaid by a hail of buillets by two suspects on board a motorbike who overtook him in a busy intersection during the rush hour yesterday.
As usual, no suspects, on killers of drug personalities so far whose victims number no less than twenty during the last two years.
While the civic sector abhors extrajudicial killings, the general sentiment is that the elimination of high profile consitent drug personalities is better than allowing them to proliferate and victimize more young innocent lives. –p30-
