Another Conflagration hit the city
Three residences were turned to ashes while two others were partially burned in a conflagration yesterday afternoon at Aldecoa Drive, Daro, Dumaguete City.
The fire destroyed an estimated Php 200, 000 amounts of properties.
Fire Officer 3 Rico Bandiling identified the victims as Dionisio Navarete, Dolores Balansag and Josefa Baldado whose residences totally vanished.
Another two residences that nearly burned were owned by Shirley Antone and Nilfred Vije.
According to investigation, the fire originated at the residence of Navarete but the cause of the conflagration is yet to be known.
The fire started past 4 o’clock in the afternoon an was controlled at 5:15 after the Silliman University Fire Brigaid and Filipino-Chinese Volunteers responded to the fire incident.
As accustomed, Albino Solon helped put out the fire by supplying water using his water tanker.
