PPA Terminal Building Gets another Delay
The Philippine Ports Authority Terminal Building project once again attained a delay after the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Region 7 sent a sent a letter of denial to the PPA’s application for a Certificate of Non-Coverage.
In the letter, DENR Region 7 Officer-in-Charge William Cunado denied the PPA’s application stating that the terminal building project is a component of the Environment Compliance Certificate or ECC.
This tickled the minds of the local officials since the provinces of Bohol, Cebu, San Carlos and the Siquijor Island were not asked to comply for such requirements with PPA’s projects on their ports.
