Dgte native on board
sunken ship still missing
There are indeed no words to express the dismay and melancholy of a son who has nothing else to do but hope that his father is still alive who was one of the passengers of the sunk M/V Princess of the Stars.
One of the declared missing after the ship drowned is Atty. Vincent Dionaldo of Guihulngan City. He is a retired businessman who is a native of Dumaguete City and traveled in Manila in order to attend the birthday celebration of his sibling. Upon his arrival in Cebu City, Atty. Dionaldo boarded M/V Princess of the Stars.
Dondie Dionaldo who was interviewed over DYEM Energy FM Dumaguete Tonight said that he is very saddened with what happened to his father since the news of the latest whereabouts of the families of the passengers and the crew is very slow. Dondie Dionaldo expressed his grief because until now they do not have any news about his father and nobody tried to reach their family regarding the on going search and rescue operations.
Meanwhile, the Coast Guard of the auxiliary unit here is now standing-by in case they will be called upon to aid the ongoing search and rescue operation. This was disclosed by Dumaguete Coast Guard Commander Robert Patrimonio. The Coast Guard Auxiliary here is headed by Jonathan Alerre.
