TeleTech scored for warm air emission
Dumaguete City Mayor Agustin Perdices has ordered inspection today of the generator of TeleTech in Calindagan which allegedly blows warm air directly to the classrooms of Sain Louie School Don Bosco.
According to Mayor Perdices, he received a call from a parent of a student in Don Bosco complaining cases of hyper ventilation to the students due to the warm air emitted by the generator. The mayor added that TeleTech has reasoned out that they only use their generator during brown outs but was discredited by the complainant. The complainant said that due to low voltage, TeleTech constantly uses their generator.
Mayor Perdices added that after he received the complaint, he immediately ordered the head of ENRO, Engr Rolly Clamonte to check the matter. The mayor also disclosed that in order not hassle others, it would be better if they place their generator away from the Don Bosco classrooms.
The Chronicle tried to contact Abbey Valenciano, head of the external affairs of TeleTech but to no avail.
