Stabbing incident due to Jealousy
A resident of Barangay Looc, Dumaguete City is now in a serious condition after he was physically abused and stabbed by his neighbor with a 12-inch knife due to jealousy.
The victim, identified as Pedro Mira, single and a native of Tanjay City was immediately brought to the Negros Oriental Provincial Hospital after the incident.
Meanwhile, the suspect was personally identified by the victim saying he is also a resident of the same barangay and goes by the name “Raymund”.
The incident happened at around 10 in the evening. According to the initial investigation, the victim was just walking on his way home as the suspect was already set to do the crime. When he saw the victim, he immediately threw a lot of punches towards him and he was caught off guard, the suspect immediately stabbed him at his right shoulder.
