Wife killed by husband due to jealousy
In the town of Sta. Catalina, Negros Oriental, a wife was stabbed to death by her own husband because of jealousy.
The victim identified as Evangeline Bajamonde, 37 years old, acquired three stab wounds on her neck made by her own husband, Edison Bajamonde, 40 years old.
Based on reports, the couple had a heated argument at around 9:00 in the morning of November 14 inside their own dwelling because the husband was suspicious on the fidelity of his wife.
During their dispute, Edison lost control and stabbed his wife three times on the victim’s neck using a sharp knife.
After the incident, Evangeline was immediately brought to the hospital but died a few minutes later.
On the other hand, the suspect was captured by the Sta. Catalina police officers and is presently detained while legal charges are prepared against him.
