Suertres Financiers on Loose, Captured Suspects out on bail
Police authorities are continuously searching for the couple, Pom and Florecita Bana who were among the subjects of the first search warrant but were able to escape from the authorities’ grasp.
The couple is allegedly the financier of the illegal numbers game “suertres” here in the city.
The Bana’s residence at Barangay Calindagan was formerly raided by the operatives from the 705th Provincial Mobile Group but the suspects were not found in the area during the operation.
The couple’s son, Paul Bana, was captured together with three others but was able to pay a bail.
According to Chief Inspector Julius Munez, the police authorities will not cease its campaign against illegal gambling until they will be able to capture the big names and personalities behind these illegal activities.
