Suertres suspected operators Captured
Legal charges will be formally filed today against alleged financier and operators of the illegal gambling activity “suertres” for infringing Republic Act 9287.
The financier identified as Paun Bana was the subject of the search operation done by the authorities but was not in the area during the operation.
The search was done at Bana’s residence in barangay Calindagan last week.
During the operation, seven operators were arrested while 6 Oro Can Cabinets full of coins were confiscated by the authorities from the provincial police group.
