Lukewright houses drug peddlers admits captain
Poblacion 2 Barangay Captain Eliseo Merced admitted the fact that the problem on illegal drugs is very rampant in his jurisdiction. However, he disclosed that the illegal numbers game “suertres” is not inflicting within his constituents.
Barangay Captain Merced cleared that not all drug peddlers at Poblacion 2, particularly at Lukewright, are really residing at his barangay, rather are coming from barangay Looc.
Merced disclosed that peddlers living at Barangay Looc go to his jurisdiction to sell illegal drugs.
With this, he said that he will practice the basics.
He said that those parents who have children that are connected with illegal drugs are called and are given lectures and pieces of advice in strengthening their family’s bond.
He added that so far, no drug lord is reportedly seen in his barangay.
Regarding with illegal gambling, he admitted that there are some bettors but the problem on this is not as intense on the problem of the illegal drugs.
Most captured by Task force 24 who are dealing with the illegal drugs are coming from either Barangay Looc or Lukewright.
