More than 20 members of the Negros Oriental Provincial Office were given commendation by the Negros Oriental Provincial Police Office Director Sr/Supt Melvin Ramon Buenafe.

The giving of commendation was done during the customary flag raising ceremony done every Monday morning.

They were given commendation because of the successful arrest of some alleged illegal gambling operators in Bindoy town and some policemen who trained the 88 trainees as auxiliary police course Class 2007 in Bayawan City. Given the commendation were:
