Still early to judge them, says SK

It is still too early to judge the new Sangguniang Kabataan Officials basing on the allegation that there is a need to abolish it since they were not able to do any contributions to the society’s welfare.

According to Dumaguete City SK Federation President L. Athena Gene Duran during he program Dumaguete Tonight aired over DYEM Energy FM, she disclosed that they should be given more time to prove that they have helped much in representing the voice of the youth.

Duran’s statement was also seconded by some members of the Sangguniang Kabataan from the different barangays here in the city like John Paul Martinez of Poblacion 5, Ryan Calumpang of Barangay Calindagan and Ayne Jane Paracuelles of Barangay Bantayan.

The said members of the Sangguniang Kabataan explained that they are still very new to their posts and it is still very early to judge their capabilities.
