Siaton town backs NegOrganic
The Local Government Unit of Siaton town supports the program NegOrganic of Negros Oriental Governor Emilio Macias II.
According to Siaton Mayor Bingbing Arbolado, his town has conducted seminars regarding the production and usage of organic fertilizers. Mayor Arbolado disclosed at DUEM Energy FM Dumaguete Tonight that they are not only getting involved with the program but they are adopting the program because the farmers have already felt their burdens with the very high price of chemical fertilizers. In fact, the price of chemical fertilizers has increased up to 200 % already.
Siaton town’s dad said that the farmers have warmly welcomed the province’ program of using organic fertilizers.
