Barangay Captains settle their cash advances
Andy Suela, outgoing and reelectionist barangay captain of Poblacion Tres Dumaguete City assured the public that he has already started liquidating his cash advances for his current term in office.
However, Suela revealed that there is still a remaining amount of Php6, 750 which remains to be liquidated in an interview at Dumaguete Tonight of DYEM Energy FM.
Meanwhile, Poblacion Dos Barangay Captain Otoy Merced guaranteed that he will try every means he can in order to liquidate the remaining unliquidated cash advances of his barangay before the term of the newly elected barangay captain starts.
Merced, who is a reelectionist, made it certain that the unliquidated cash advances of his barangay was acquired by the deceased barangay captain Isidro Teves.
Merced further said that if he would turn out victorious on the coming elections, he will not practice what has most of the barangay captains did, leaving their cash advances unliquidated.
