Fiscal, Suertres Protector?
A fiscal was seen in the premises of a suspected illegal numbers game’s financier in the province, revealed Sr. Supt. Ramon Melvin Buenafe.
The fiscal, whose name is still withheld by the police, was seen by Buenafe’s operatives to be inside the premises of the alleged illegal gambling financier who is the subject of the next search warrant.
However, Buenafe disclosed that it is still a puzzle why the fiscal was in that place and his men are doing an investigation regarding the matter.
Supt. Buenafe warned that if the fiscal would be proven to be protecting the financier, along with strong evidence, they will file due legal charges against him.
According to him, nobody is excused with their campaign to stop illegal gambling, including those policemen who are suspected to be accepting protection money.
He added that it is inevitable that many are seeking for his dismissal in office because of his on going campaign against illegal gambling and it is already part of a police’s job.
