Dumaguete to put up a “University Town” booth
Even with meager funds, Dumaguete City will still participate and construct a booth at the Sidlakang Negros Village, revealed City Administrator Dominador Dumalag Jr.
Egnr. Dumalag admitted that City Mayor Agustin Perdices changed his mind and decided to build a booth despite the lack of funds.
Governor Emilio Macias earlier said that the city government of Dumaguete will not construct a booth at the Sidlakang Negros Village because of insufficient funds but Engr. Dumalag said that Dumaguete City will build a booth and is just waiting for the cost estimate of the booth from City Engineer Edwin Quirit.
According to Engr. Dumalag, the booth to be constructed will be plainly simple so they are confident that the booth will be finished before the opening of the Sidlakang Negros Village that is set on December 21.
