Korean University inks accord with FU, DCSHS and officials
A Memorandum of Understanding between a University of Korea, Foundation University, Dumaguete City Science High School and local officials was signed yesterday at the session hall of the city.
Under the agreement is the exchange of students among the three educational institutions. Those who signed the memorandum include Dumaguete City Mayor Agustin Perdices, Korea Mayor Jeong Go Buk, Yeong Dong University President Chai Yung Gwan, Foundation University President Dr. Mira Sinco and Dumaguete City Science High School Principal Rolando Cadano.
According to Vice-Mayor Woodrow Maquiling the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the three schools and the local officials of Dumaguete and Korea is a great achievement in the field of education.
On the other hand, City Schools Division Superintendent Milagros Velez who witnessed the signing rites said that what was done yesterday is actually an exchange of knowledge. Meanwhile, Cadano said that they would gladly impart their knowledge on English to the Korean students.
