Agriculture Secretary, no show yesterday
Agriculture Secretary Arthur Yap failed to come in the province yesterday due to an urgent cabinet meeting at Malacanang.
Nitz Bangay of the Provincial Department if Agriculture revealed that Yap was supposed to be the guest speaker of the Second Central Visayas Artificial Insemination Congress but failed to come because of the said urgent meeting.
However, despite Yap’s absence, the Regional Executive Director of Region 7 along with some of the executives of the livestock division graced the occasion.
The event was also attended by different personalities who are interested with farming and agriculture.
Earlier, Bangay has also announced a goat and chicken dispersal at Bacong town which is the first beneficiary of the said program in the whole province.
