PORT closed
The Prudential Customs Brokerage Services Incorporated expressed their sorrow regarding the closure of the Dumaguete City Port from its operation.
In a Press Statement Issued by PCBSI, Atty Joel Obar, PCBSI’s legal counsel said that the closure of the port has been a great disturbance of the contract signed by the national government and PCBSI. However, according to the press statement, PCBSI has understood the sentiments and feelings of the PPA administration.
The press statement further said that they too were saddened with the bloody encounter and the abuse of the children that happened. It added that the simple problem for peace and order became complicated despite all the efforts exerted by the affected sectors.
At present, in the press statement, Obar said that they are calculating the total amount of damage done to them and the people accountable for the civil compensation that they are going to ask for such melee that happened.
