LADY JUDGE AND
FORMER DRUG JUDGE assigned
TO HEAR EXTRA JUDICIAL KILLINGS CASES
Lady Judge Teresita Galanida and former anti-drugs Court presiding Judge Rosendo Bandal Jr have been appointed by the supreme court to handle extrajudicial killings cases.
But until today, despite the number of at least ten unsolved extrajudicial killings, NOT A SINGLE CASE has yet been filed here.
This could mean that nobody has yet been arrested on the many UNSOLVED extrajudicial killings except the case of a student who was arrested and main suspect in the extrajudicial killing of a tailor, who is also an old member of one of the street gangs in cebu./
Somehow, Cebu gang wars have subsided, while it is now escalating in Dumaguete

Here, two judges have arrived for their special assignments aside from the old assignment, Judge Ling Ling Briones, chair of the Silliman board trustees who are attending the healing mass at the bacong catholic church. -30-
