City council tackles traffic scheme
In tomorrow’s question hour during the regular session of the Dumaguete city council, it expected that the city traffic scheme will be discussed. To be present during the session are Paulino Honculada, Head of the Traffic Management Office and Danny Atillo, Traffic Management Officer along with officials from the different drivers and motorcabs’ associations in the city.
Honculada and Atillo wil be present in order make certain changes in the traffic scheme as an answer to the continuous rise in oil price. This is through Councilor Rotelio Lumjod.
Councilor Lumjod said the TMO should not strictly implement its NO ENTRY scheme in some streets in the city. This, so that the motorcabs would no longer travel a farther distance and therefore save gasoline.
