Dumaguete Police Braces for Fiesta activities
The police security operations of the Dumaguete City police are already fixed for this coming fiesta celebration.
According to Dumaguete City Police Chief Supt. Dionardo Carlos, there will be an augmentation from the Provincial Mobile Group and the Provincial Police Office.
Supt. Carlos said there are policemen which will be deployed in the city upon the order of Provincial Police Director Sr. Supt. Omar Buenafe.
Carlos added that there will be law enforcers who will secure the safety of the people during the different activities of the fiesta celebration especially the important visitors of every event including the Negros Oriental 9-Ball Championship this coming November 14-17.
Big names from the billiards industry will visit in the province like Efren Bata Reyes, Lee Van Corteza and others.
The Dumaguete City police is also bracing up for the visit of the international icon David Pomeranz for his coming concert.
Because of this, Supt. Carlos advised the public to be vigilant and report any untoward or suspicious incidents around them to the police.
There is a growing number of people in the city and the police chief is warning business establishments from shoplifters especially those who were driven out from Bacolod during the Maskara Festival.
